Kılıçdaroğlu: Mothers are being battered with police batons in front of the prisons for their children

ANKARA - CHP President Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said: "They are battering the mother with police batons during the sit ins mothers are doing for their children on hunger strike" regarding the police attacks against the families of the hunger strikers and the Saturday Mothers sit ins.

Kılıçdaroğlu reacted to the fact that mothers are being battered by the police in front of the prisons. Kılıçdaroğlu said: "They are battering the mothers who are waiting in front of the prisons hoping their children don't die, they are insulting them. Their children might  be at fault, but everyone should remember that they have a mother and that mother means the world to them. What could be more natural than a mother waiting for their child who is at risk of death? What mother wants their children to die? No once can beat up a mother, the only thing you can do is to respect them. How can you drag those mothers in the streets and hit them? I am referring to those who gave the orders to the police. They say they have faith. What faith gives you the permission to lay a hand on a mother? None of them!"
